       Slow Food Event American Cheese Society 'Festival of Cheese"

 



The American Cheese Society will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary


in Chicago this month



Slow Food Chicago proudly supports the conference and its ACS members.



Festival of Cheese - Saturday, July 26: 5:30 to 9:00PM.   Taste over 1,100 North American artisanal and specialty cheeses, including winners of the ACS Competition. The Festival will also feature cheese-friendly products, wines and beers. It will be at the Hilton Chicago on South Michigan Avenue.

       Slow Food Event American Cheese Society 'Cheese Sale"

Cheese Sale – Sunday, July 27: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM .  Held at Kendall College, the Cheese Sale is a chance to buy fantastic cheeses at head-turning prices. Proceeds benefit the ACS Cheesemaker Scholarship Fund.  The Cheese Sale is free.  Kendall is located just north of W. Chicago Ave. and N. Halsted St.

  Local Artisan Cheese Dinner
Trattoria 225 is proud to present our first dinner featuring Wisconsin Artisan cheese paired with selected wines. As we taste each, information about the cheeses, cheese makers, and wines will be shared. This will be followed by a dinner of locally grown salad, wood-fired pizzas and delectable dessert with each course showcasing different local cheeses and paired with wine and beer.
