Strawberry-Rhubarb-Basil-Balsamic Mojito (As featured in the August 2008 issue of GQ)
Build in a Strong Pint Glass
3 Medium-Sized Strawberries, Sliced and 1 Tablespoon Sliced Rhubarb that has been softened in a pan by heating with 1 part brown sugar to 2 parts sliced Rhubarb.
2 teaspoons Brown Sugar
1/2 Lime Quartered, Bitter White Pithe Removed
Loosely Packed Fresh Basil to Fill Glass 1/4 way
Muddle Until Juicy and Aromatic
Add 1.5 Ounces 10 Cane Rum, Fill with Ice, Splash of Soda, Stir, Another Splash of Soda.
