Summer’s Eve Dinner
Join Executive Chef David DiGregorio for “A Summer’s Eve Dinner” with Slow Food Chicago, Kinnikinnick Farm and Candid Wines. Our “Summer’s Eve Dinner” will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a brief reception followed by a family style dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m. The evening will include an informal talk about the Midwest tomato season led by David Cleverdon, farmer & owner of Kinnikinnick Farm.

White: Jasci Trebbiano 2007~This Trebbiano is a dry, but rich wine that tastes like a combination of citrus and hazelnuts. Made from organically grown grapes from the Adriatic Coast.
Red: Jasci Montepulciano di Abruzzo~Montepulciano is the name of the grape. A perfect pair with Osteria Via Stato’s food this wine has good weight and bright, juicy fruit flavors. Like its white companion, Jasci’s Montepulciano is made from organically grown grapes.
