Having a passion for bringing locally and sustainably grown food to my own table I hope to bring this passion into the greater Chicagoland community. My background in marketing, sales and networking give me a unique perspective for dissemination of information– thus moving the Slow Food mission into the greater Community. During difficult economic times, the economics of food drives people’s choices. My goal is to make more apparent the health, social and political benefits of local, sustainable, organic and diverse food versus the often lower cost of food purchased from large scale agri-business.
