It's here! Spring is really here! Know how we know? The preSERVE garden is up and running for the season. And you can come help us get things going on the right foot - or perhaps with a green thumb?
For the first garden volunteer day of the season, we will celebrate the beginning of 2016 with preserves. Attendees are encouraged to bring what remains of their winter preserves and Slow Food will provide all the extra accoutrements to enjoy the last bits of last years' harvest as we prepare for a new growing season.
What to bring (outside of your fine self)? Wear warm clothes and layers (you never know - it is April in Chicago after all) and gardening gloves, if you have them. Email email@example.com with questions and to RSVP. See you in the garden!
