Join AUA and Slow Food Chicago for our second "Raise the Barn Crop Mob" of group volunteering opportunities at urban farms and gardens across the city! Learn about new projects, connect with fellow gardeners, and give back to your city!
On Saturday, May 13th from 10am-1pm we'll be volunteering at Earl's Garden Mae’s Kitchen, a community garden project in Englewood. This unique site was purchased by a neighborhood family through the city's $1 large lot program and is a labor of love dedicated to education, health and wellness. Let's help them get their garden growing for the year!
Learn new skills and make new friends! Come with garden clothes on, closed-toe shoes and a water bottle. Thanks for supporting the urban agriculture community and see you there!
