Slow Food Chicago is returning to the Centennial National Restaurant Association Show again this year thanks to a partnership with BellaVita. Hope you can join us at one of these special presentations at the BellaVita pavilion stage!

  • Saturday, May 18th @3:15pm : “Rediscovering Lost Flavors and the Ark of Taste”

    Joel Smith (Slow Food USA Board, Co-Chair) and Kirby Barth (Slow Food Youth Network Chicago) will discuss the slow loss of the foods we love and how we can commit to saving them.

  • Sunday, May 19th @2pm : “Farinata : The Original Chickpea Pizza”

    Ali Cole (The Farinata Project) and Slow Food Chicago board member Chelsea Callahan Huson will demonstrate how to make your own Farinata, a traditional Italian style chickpea flatbread and how taking the time and care to make this from scratch bread aligns with Slow Food ideals.
