A hearty thank you to everyone who joined us last night for our inaugural Food Book Club meeting, in partnership with Graze Magazine!

In honor of the James Beard Awards coming to Chicago for the first time ever in May, our next book will be Provence, 1970 by Luke Barr!

This unique book takes us through an historic conversation between James Beard, M.F.K. Fisher, Julia Child, Richard Olney, Simone Beck, and Judith Jones about the future of the food movement from their time together in southern France in 1970. M.F.K Fisher chronicled their conversations in journals and letters —some of which were later discovered by Luke Barr, her great-nephew. 

Join us for our own version of this conversation, as we look back into the past through the minds of legendary leaders in the food movement.
