2017 was an incredible year for Slow Food Chicago! We are so grateful for all of you for your enthusiasm and participation towards a good, clean, and fair food system.

- hundreds of heirloom tomato seedling varieties that found new homes with gardeners around Chicago
- 17 local farmers, mixologists and producers featured in Farm Roast menu items (many of which included Ark of Taste ingredients)
- 11 Blog Posts highlighting profiles of local producers, farmers and chefs
- 10 preSERVE Garden Volunteer Days
- 9 Instagram Takeovers with local producers, farmers, and chefs
- 7 Crop Mobs of volunteers to help out local farmers for a day
- 6 new board members
- 6 Food Book Club Gatherings
- Sent delegates representing Chicago to Slow Food Nations in Denver, Colorado
